Austria's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka has now also been contractually sealed: Secretary General of the Japan Association for the Expo 2025 Hiroyuki Ishige, Federal Minister Martin Kocher and Commissioner General Ursula Plassnik signed Austria's participation contract for the World Expo in Osaka on Friday, October 28.
“Japan and Austria share the vision of a responsible and sustainable future, which is also reflected in the Expo 2025 program. We therefore want to show the diversity and capability of the Austrian economy for the realization of this vision through new technologies and initiatives, thereby ensuring a livable future for our society," emphasized Austrian Commissioner General Ursula Plassnik at the signing of the agreement.
