Under the motto "Composing the future together", Harald Mahrer, President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, travelled to Japan last week with a company delegation in preparation for Expo 2025 Osaka.
The thematic trip, which lasted several days, took into account the very different perspectives of the participants and offered a wide range of modules, especially in the high-tech, construction and creative sectors - from the particle accelerator to the Sony AI Center and humanoid robots to sustainable high-rise buildings as well as the Japanese Space Agency.
In preparation for Expo 2025 in Osaka, the presentation of the Austrian contribution to the Japanese press and a visit to Osaka were of course not to be missed. The participants were able to find out what other exhibitors are planning by visiting one of the five Japanese theme exhibitors and the global corporation Panasonic, which will also be represented with its own pavilion at Expo 2025.
The "Road to Expo" experienced a first, strong appearance with this business mission and sees itself in the next two years and beyond as a platform to intensively connect with the Japanese host and to stay in contact beyond that.
