Under the motto ‘Austria Composing the Future’, we will present the diversity and performance of our country to the world from April 2025 to October 2025 Our Innovation Lab Austria - at the heart of the pavilion - offers a platform for domestic companies and projects to inspire our international visitors for Austrian research and business. In addition to innovation, the ‘i’ here also stands for information, inspiration and interaction.
Almost 140 innovative products and projects from Austrian companies, institutions and universities were submitted to our ‘Call for Innovations’.
The submitted innovations were presented to our expert jury, which selected the winning projects in an anonymous evaluation. The decision-making process was not easy due to the large number of excellent submissions. The selection was made with the aim of positioning Austria as a country of innovation among visitors to Expo 2025 and strengthening the perception of Austria's pioneering role in various areas.
